Coach of the Year Award: This award takes into account the leadership, achievement and mission of the program that the Coach oversees and is voted upon by the athletic department. The past recipients are as follows: 2022 - Mark Mathews (Boys Golf) and Joe Bellflower (Girls Lacrosse) 2023 - Bobby Allen (Boys Basketball) 2024 - Sean Yau (Girls Soccer) 2025 - Charlie Barry (Boys Lacrosse) Charlie Barry, Head Coach of Boys Lacrosse led the boys lacrosse program to its 2nd State Title this past spring by defeating Evansville Memorial by a score of 14-5. After spending two years in Class 2A due to program success, the Golden Eagles rebounded by going to 8-1 against 1A opponents in the 2025. With the foundations of the program being laid by faith, discipline and hustle, the Golden Eagles exemplified excellence by scoring 12 goals/game and placing 3 student-athletes on the All-Class team. This season's title was the 4th trip to the State Finals with appearances in 2019 and 2022 and titles in 2021 and 2025.
